CHRISTMAS flights out of Orly airport in Paris and Eurostar services could be disrupted in the coming days due to a strike.
Alysia Sūreté, the private contractor responsible for checking passengers' hand-luggage at Orly, said delayed take-offs and longer queues are likely.
The strike, which will run for an indefinite period, is in protest at under-staffing and changes to working patterns. The CGT union says passengers' safety is being put at risk.
Flight running information is available on the Orly airport website.
Eurostar drivers have called a strike for tomorrow and Saturday in a row over bonuses, but the company says it is confident that it will still be able to run a normal service and no cancellations are planned.
Meanwhile, the High Court in London is due to rule later today on whether a planned strike by British Airways cabin crew over the Christmas and New Year period is legal. The walkout is due to take place between December 22 and January 2.
