AUTHORS' fascination with Vichy France is the topic of a talk by novelist and historian Allan Massie in Paris at the end of June.

Mr Massie will discuss his novels The Spectre of Vichy and Death in Bordeaux, and his inspiration and fascination with war time France.

The event will take place at The American Library in Paris at 19.30 on July 30 and is open to the public for free.
