AN ARTIST in the Charente-Maritime is preparing to put on her first exhibition in France this month, after 35 years living and exhibiting her work in South Africa.
Doris Murray moved to the region two years ago and her colourful oil and acrylic paintings depict both French and South African life and landscapes.
The works go on display in the Office du Tourisme in Saint-Jean-d’Angely from May 18 to June 5, open Mondays to Saturdays from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.00.
