WHISKY, haggis, neeps, tatties and bagpipes at the ready – Scots around France will be celebrating Burns Night in style this year.
Here are some of the planned events on or around January 25:
Aude (11)
Scottish dancing and a huge dinner at the Foyer Culturel in Cuxac-Cabardes, near Carcassonne. The celebration takes place on January 23 at 19.00 and costs €15. Call Henri Revel before January 15 on 04 68 26 54 51 to reserve.

The Bordeaux British Community is finalising the details of its Burns Night celebration, which will be held on January 23. Annual Burns Night bash on the outskirts of Montpellier, in the Salle Le Dévezou in Montferrier-sur-Lez on January 27 from 20.30. Includes Scottish ceilidh dancing and bagpipes.
