THE CHARENTE branch of Cancer Support France is getting ready for its summer fête and craft fair in the grounds of the Château de la Borderie in Benest on July 10 from 9.30 to 16.00.

There will be guided tours of the chateau during the day, as well as a variety of stalls and workshops.

There will also be a dog show, a procession of decorated bicycles and the chance to try your hand at archery.

Food and drink will be available throughout the day, including home-made ice cream.
