THE CORVETTE is celebrated at a festival near Le Mans this month for car-lovers on their way to the famous 24-hour race.
The big free event in Saint-Saturnin in the Sarthe is a popular stop-off point for British race fans.
More than 4,000 visitors are expected and there will be about 800 classic and sports cars on display including an exhibition of Corvettes through the ages.
Guest of honour this year is Corvette racing programme manager Doug Fehan.
There is also a cinema, live music, restaurants, bars, souvenirs and a free car wash.
The event is hosted by a local association, Saint Saturnin Classic British Welcome. Doors open at 9.00 on Friday, June 11.
