CHURCHGOERS in the Dordogne are joining with others from across the globe to invite people to special services on Back to Church Sunday on September 27.

The event, which aims to encourage lapsed church visitors to consider coming back, started in Manchester in 2004. It has since spread to the rest of the UK and overseas.
