Pay-outs for train delays
Connexion edition: May 2010

IF YOUR train is delayed by more than half an hour, the following compensation rules apply (in ticket vouchers or bank transfers):

30 minutes or more: 33% ticket price, in vouchers

1-2 hours: 33% voucher or 25% transfer

2 hours or more: 66% voucher or 50% transfer.

You should be handed a prepaid envelope when you get off the train in which you put your tickets and, if necessary, a bank RIB.

If you do not get given one, write to:

Service Relations
Client SNCF,
62973 ARRAS Cedex 9.

The compensation does not apply to local TER trains or to the Transilien and the delay should not be be due to a factor outside of SNCF's control, such as worker strikes.
