ANGEL Traders have announced the dates for two trade fairs in October designed to bring together English-speaking businesses in and around the Charente.

The next events are in Ruffec at Salle Louis Petit – the large blue
building next to Intermarche - on Saturday 10 October from 10am – 4pm; and Saint-Jean d’Angely at Salle Alienor d’Aquitaine on
Saturday 31 October also from 10am – 4pm.

The events allow businesses catering for English-speakers to meet each other face-to-face, promote their products and services and share advice.

The last trade fair was in Riberac, and was described by organisers Amanda Smith and Melanie Chipperfield as their "best ever" with 300 people through the doors.

"With more than 40 businesses exhibiting their trade or service the general public had so much to see," they said.

"Our business events really do reach out to people and talking face-to-face really does work.

"Taking that step to invest a small amount of money on a stand makes your business a thought for the future."

They added: "We really try and make our events personal and professional and consider our exhibitors as our friends."

Stands at each of the two October events cost €120. A special promotional price of €90 is offered to people who have exhibited before, limited to the first 20 stands.
