Les Amis des Chats is celebrating World Animal Day with a seven-course gala dinner and awards ceremony on October 3 at the Auberge du Brelan in Anthé in the Lot-et-Garonne.

The evening includes live music and a prize-giving for the local cats that have achieved the most.

Categories include the cat that has triumphed in the face of adversity, the cleverest feline and the cat that has used the most of its lives.
