A READER is looking to make contact with anyone who practises spinning or hand-weaving in France.

Mary Dunn, who lives in the Bourgogne, said: “There is no system of guilds like in the US and the UK, where spinners can meet, exchange ideas and teach newcomers.

“I was hoping to find other spinners who would be keen to start up this system here.”
