A MOTOR-HOME enthusiast who swapped his vehicle with another family’s in France to drive while on holiday has set up a website to encourage others.

Motorhomeholidayswap.com has several hundred registered users and acts as a meeting place for owners to swap with others overseas for a cheap holiday.

Founder Chris Farrow, who lives in Hexham in Northumberland, said: “We had some friends who moved to France, so we exchanged with them. They came to visit family in the UK and we went on holiday to France, swapping our vehicles. We had a brilliant time and the idea worked so well I had the website developed.”
