A NEW air route from Brive to Manchester is to launch next summer - the second UK air link for France's newest airport.

Budget airline Jet2 will operate two return flights a week from May 21 to September 24.

Brive opened its doors to the public in June, with flights to Paris and London City airport.

The summer route to London, operated by CityJet, has been extended a further six weeks to the end of October.
