RUNNING a marathon is hungry work - and Tarn-et-Garonne resident Karen Sweeting is getting ready for her fourth, this time in Toulouse.

Karen, who lives in Saint Antonin Noble Val, completed the London marathon in 2003 and both Paris and Amsterdam in 2007.

The trainers and kit are now out in preparation for the next big run on October 24.

She will be raising money for two causes: the France Alzheimer association and Help For Heroes, the charity for injured British service personnel.

"In a moment of madness, I’ve decided that there must be one more marathon in me," Karen says.
