'Superman' dies in Paris balcony fall

Meanwhile French 'Spider-man' Alain Robert is arrested for climbing skyscraper in Sydney

A MAN dressed as Superman has died after falling from a fourth-floor balcony in Paris.

The incident happened around 5.00 on Monday in boulevard de Rochechouart in the ninth arrondissement, during a party.

Three people in the apartment at the time of the fall have been questioned by police.

Meanwhile, France's 'Spider-man' Alain Robert has been arrested in Sydney after climbing the 151m Lumiere Building.

During the climb he unfurled a banner promoting the climate change awareness site www.onehundredmonths.org

Robert, 48, will appear in court on September 3 for trespassing and endangering life.

The freeclimber’s previous achievements include reaching the summit of the Empire State Building, the Montparnasse Tower, the Petronas Tower, Syndey Opera house and bridge, and Canary Wharf's One Canada Square.
