Can you advise if there are any tax or social security benefits / reliefs for French tax payers when you have reached the age of 65. I am Scottish but have been tax resident for two years in France.

Depending on your level of income, there is an additional income tax allowance to which you may be due, but there is nothing to reduce your social charges, I'm afraid.
