LES Amis Des Chats invites you to their first and very special Cat Celebration Gala evening on 3 October 2009.

The gala will be hosted at Le Brelan Restaurant near Tournon D’Agenais(47 – Lot et Garonne), and includes an abundance of delicious food, wine and live music cabaret by Mark Newman and Michel Griffin, (you can hear their fantastic sounds on www.montcuqimages.com or www.michelgriffin.com

The evening is the cat charity’s way of being involved in World Animal Day, a day of celebration of mankind’s unique relationship with the animal kingdom, a day which acknowledges the numerous ways in which animals enrich our lives.

The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of awards to the owners of cats who have a story to tell about their own very special moggie.

We are looking for stories and nominations in the following ‘cat’egories:
■ The cat that has used up the most lives!
■ Hero cat
■ The cat that has triumphed through adversity
■ The cat who has achieved the most/the most clever cat
■ The cat who has changed the life of their owner.

Eventually, stories will be published in a book to be sold in aid of LADC, so even if you don’t win, your cat could be famous!
