I choose the films at Cannes festival

Thierry Frémaux has final say on which films are shown at Cannes. He tells Connexion how he chooses

His position as “selector” of the films is much debated. Whatever the controversies, this canny film-lover follows his own path, that of a cinema open to the world. We caught up with him before the 63rd festival.

Due to licensing restrictions, this article is no longer available online. However, the full interview can be read in the May issue of The Connexion which can be downloaded as a PDF from this link.
