Kangaroos on the loose in Normandy

Creatures escaped from a private zoo in the Manche yesterday and should not be approached if found

NORMANDY residents have been asked to look out for two kangaroos that are on the loose in the Manche.

The pair escaped from a private zoo near Sartilly, between Avranches and Granville yesterday, according to local newspaper La Manche Libre.

Nature protection officials from the hunting authority l'Office National de la Chasse are searching the department.

One of the kangaroos is albino. If you see them, you should not approach or try to capture them, but instead call the police immediately on 17.
