Tighten up the smoking laws

I know of at least half a dozen restaurants that still allow smoking in their bars

THE laws on smoking should be tightened. I live in Normandy and I know of at least half a dozen restaurants that still allow smoking in their bars.

I have noticed that the owners also smoke. I go to lunch most days and find it quite offensive to smell cigarettes when I am trying to eat.

Needless to say I do not go to these restaurants any more. I must admit that I have not seen smoking in the restaurant, only in the bar, but, the smell still seems to come through.

I also think there should be a law that stops people congregating directly outside the front door.
