Demand for good curries around France

Only 47 years since coming to live in France, I have found a good Indian restaurant. I had to take advantage of being in Paris to try and find such a rarity, at Aarchna, in the 20th.

The fact is that in our delightful French provinces, most of the “Indians” are from ex-French départements and have no direct knowledge of the traditions of the “Sub-continent”.

My misery of having to contend with Paris was amply rewarded. Probably the best Indian meal of my life. Prawn karahi! Exquisite! If any reader knows where in France you can get a decent boona gusht or methi gusht or prawn dhansak, please let me know.
