The missing link

It has just taken me 30 seconds to find the blueprints for a nuclear bomb on Google.

Finding information on how to get an appointment at the local prefecture for a permanent carte de séjour is taking me considerably longer. Perhaps because I am British.

While I am pleased Fred Adkins from Occitanie (Letters, February) found it easy to find his way through the administration, perhaps in future such people could add the internet link to their letters.

It would make it so much easier for us peasants!

I have all the paperwork ready, sent emails and a recorded letter but have only had an acknowledgement of receipt. The websites I have found seem to concern only people from outside of the EU. What is going on ?
