Healthcare in France after Brexit

As UK pensioners living in France, we have been following closely the situation regarding health costs after Brexit.

But nowhere have we seen mention of the difference it makes if you have taken out French nationality, as we did five years ago.

I assume our health costs are still covered reciprocally under the S1.

But has our French nationality made any difference to the possible breakdown in cover in the event of a no-deal?

Jonathan and Petrena Ash, Pyrénées-Atlantiques

We reply: French nationality will not have an effect on your right to continue to have healthcare as a UK pensioner in France, whether under the deal, or under French or British contingency plans for no-deal.
