Long-lost brother in France?

I live in in Conneaut Ohio, USA. My father, who passed away in 2015, was in the Army Air Corps during WW2. Before he passed he said to me that someone from France had contacted him about the possibility of my dad being his father.
Of course, dad said it did not happen and I understand that as he would want to protect my mother’s feelings. Now that they have both passed I am thinking that I might have a brother in France.

I am 68 and this person would be a few years older. I realise that this inquiry will benefit no one but myself and the other party but I just wanted to make this little gesture to reach out. My father’s name is Richard LeRue Millett.
