Start your day with a typical British Brunch, as part of "Fête de l’Europe," at the library on Saturday, May 11th from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Brunch will be served buffet style, so you can pick and choose and try a typical English breakfast! From scrambled eggs to baked beans, sausages, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes, toast, orange juice, tea and coffee, we’ll have all the fixings for a breakfast that is oh so British and so good! We’ll also hear about the Twinning between Angers and Wigan, a sister city in the U.K., from Wigan Ambassador Chloe Bradley. Her bilingual talk will touch on the international relationship between the two cities, to promote cultural ties, as well as the changing dynamic between the U.K and Europe. Following her talk, we’ll open things up to questions and discussion. Open to the public. Cost 5 euros. No need to reserve, just come hungry and enjoy!
