We aim to help people of all nationalities living, or arriving, in the Périgord to integrate into the local French way of life. We encourage participation in local activities, offer members practical support and provide cultural and social opportunities. We currently have around 280 members from 14 different nationalities - anglophones from all over the world, Dutch, French and many more.
Apart from organising a varied social and cultural calendar, we offer free French language classes led by volunteers who also teach professionally. This allows us to provide seven different levels of tuition. Those looking to improve their English language skills can benefit from our English lessons.
Membership:
Full year (1st October – 30th September) €25
For first year of joining only:
Between 1st October to 31st March – €25
Between 1st April to 31st July – €12,50 (Reduced rate)
Between 1st August to 30th September – €25 (membership extends till 30th September of the following year)
The fee includes all activities on offer through ACIP.
ACIP is located at Le Bastion, 5 bis rue la Bastiere, 24260 Le Bugue, which is situated just off the rue de Paris. The venue is light and airy and benefits from a kitchen, bar and toilet facilities. Refreshments are available during each group meeting and our Members’ swap library is also located here.
