ARDDS (French association for the deaf and hard of hearing)

Registration #:

L'Association de Réadaptation et Défense des Devenus-Sourds (ARDDS) is the largest French association for people who have acquired hearing loss. It was founded in September 1969.

Due to its age, the ARDDS is intimately linked to the history of the Parisian associations and more generally to the history of deafness in France. Indeed, it is one of three founding members of BUCODES SURDIFRANCE and participated in the creation of the UNISDA.

It aims to provide aid as well as professional and social integration for the hearing impaired. It participates as much as possible in the development of accessibility in communities.
