Newsletter for Britons on Dordogne/Charente border

The Bulletin 1624 newsletter is emailed to 300 subscribers a week, keeping them up-to-date with events on the Dordogne and Charente border.

As well as local events, the Bulletin 1624 site (bulletin1624.com) is home to blogs, gardening information and poems. Editor Jeremy Smith said: “There is a lot of information. Roche Chalais library tells us what it is putting on, while a restaurant posts its menu. In May and June, we have details of the International Festival of Chamber Music in Charente.”

Launched in 2001, it was aimed to help people settle into the area by giving information on local events and Mr Smith would be interested in hearing from anyone who would like help collating information.
