If you have never used our website before, you may need to register as a new user there. Note that receiving our free email newsletter does not automatically mean that you are already registered as a user on our website.

If you are a subscriber already or have bought something from us in the past, you may already have a user account on our website, and in that case you will need to identify yourself and LOGIN with your email and password.

  • Why do I need to register?

You can access many of our services without having to register.

Some services do allow you to personalise your experience in some way and you will also need to register to leave comments, make a purchase, subscribe or place a classified advertisement for example.

  • I can’t login – I have forgotten my password

If you have forgotten your password, you can ask for it to be reset from: https://www.connexionfrance.com/User/Password/Reset

   1. Enter your email in the box, tick the CaptCha, and then click on the RESET button so that a 'reset password' token gets sent to you at the email address you provided.

   2. A new window will open up in your browser – please keep it open.

Check your mailbox to retrieve the automatic email that got sent to you.

If not in your Inbox, check your Junk or Spam folder in case it got filtered there.

Make a note of the 'reset password' token, and go back to the password reset page that you left opened earlier.

   3. Type the token in the first box.

Type your new password twice, in the two boxes underneath.

Tick the CaptCha.

Click on the CHANGE PASSWORD button

   4. you can now LOGIN with your new password (make sure you are in the right case etc)

 

  • I want to check on my subscription details. How can I do this?

To check on your subscription details, please:

   1. LOGIN using the email address that is currently linked to your subscription:

   2. Complete Registration if you have never done so before.

   3. Once IN (it should say LOGOUT at the top) click on MY ACCOUNT to view your subscription details.

  • I am already a subscriber and I have now logged in but I cannot see details of my existing subscription showing in MY ACCOUNT.

If you subscribed or renewed your subscription before 21/02/2017, this is normal.

If you took out or renewed your subscription before 21/02/2017, it will not show in your MY ACCOUNT section as we had not launched our new website at that point.

Please be assured your subscription will continue to operate as it did when you purchased it.

When your current subscription ends – and we will alert you when it does - you will be able to renew by choosing one of the subscription packages (Print + Digital, or Digital-only).

  • I have just received notification that my subscription has expired – how can I renew and what subscription packages can I now subscribe to?

If you have received notification that your subscription has expired or is about to expire, then it is time to renew.

   1. To do so online, LOGIN to your account using the email address that is currently linked to your subscription:

If you login for the very first time, you may have to reset your password here:

https://www.connexionfrance.com/User/Password/Reset

See above for more information on this.

   2. Complete Registration if you have never done so before.

   3. Choose one of our subscription offers, as shown here:

Add the subscription to your basket, and once there check that your details are correct.

Once happy, click on CALCULATE POSTAGE if you have chosen a subscription that includes posting copies to your home (i.e. not a digital-only subscription)

   4. Click on PROCEED TO PAYMENT to access the payment gateway. Follow the steps.

   5. Once the payment has been processed, you will have immediate access to:

+ All the articles on our website

+ a PDF version of the current edition*.

 To access this, go to MY ACCOUNT and scroll dow to the DOWNLOAD section at the bottom of the page

*Remember to download and save if you want to keep as it gets replaced by the new edition each month

  • I have just taken a subscription, but when will it start?

The Connexion is a monthly newspaper and our deadline is the 12th each month in order to subscribe on time and be posted the next edition.

(so 12/07 to receive August, 12/08 to receive September, etc.)

 The following online access and benefits however start immediately after purchase:

+ All the articles on our website

+ a PDF version of the current edition

  • Do I have to subscribe or place my order online?

No, you can also subscribe or place an order by post or by phone.

Payment for any of our products can be made by cheque made out to the order of The Connexion and sent to our offices (address below) along with your contact and delivery details + details of your order:

  • How is the payment processed?

Payments taken on our website or by phone are processed in Euros.

We can take any Visa or MasterCard.

If your card is not in Euros, your bank will do the conversion into the card’s currency.

Note that we do not take PayPal or Amex.

  • What about subscription automatic renewal and storage of card details?

Subscriptions automatically renew so you don't miss an edition.

But you can switch this off at any time if you so wish.

To do so, LOGIN on our website, click on MY ACCOUNT, and scroll down to the Subscription section.

Switch the automatic renewal button off (i.e. button should be red)

  • My subscription has automatically renewed but I saw that there were two charges for it on my bank statement – why?

The cost of a subscription is always the same, regardless of where the paper needs to get delivered: €41 for a 1 year subscription, or €11.50 for a freedom subscription.

To the cost of the subscription iitself is then added postage. In the case of a one year subscription, it will be €8 for an address in France, €24 for an address in Europe, or €31 for an address elsewhere in the world.

When the subscription automatically renews, the two charges are being processed independently which is why you saw two charges on your statement.

 

  • I would like to buy a gift subscription, or I would like to buy something for someone else. How can I do this?

 For any gift order with delivery to an address other than yours, please contact our offices as this cannot be done online.

  • I split my time between France and the UK, can you do a subscription that would suit my needs?

Hopefully we can, yes. We can do a split delivery subscription, where we change the delivery address for you when relevant and as previously agreed. Note however that this cannot be do online, so please contact our offices to discuss this.

  • How do I notify you of a change of address?

You can update your address yourself from your MY ACCOUNT space on our website, but only if the delivery address is in the same country as what you bought your current subscription for.

However, and if the move is from a French to a UK address for example, please contact our offices to get your details updated.

  • My card details have changed – how do I update them?

   1. If you are making a purchase, you will have the option to choose a different card from the one last use when you reach the payment gateway.

To enter the new card details, tick the ‘Enter new card’ radio button.

   2. If you are not making a purchase but would like to update your card details ahead of your subscription’s automatic renewal, please contact our offices.

  • I have bought a PDF guide or an article – how and when will I get it?

Digital files such as articles, back issues or PDF guides are available immediately after the purchase has been finalised and paid for.

To access your digital files please follow these steps:

   1. Firstly, LOGIN from https://www.connexionfrance.com/login with your email and password.

   2. COMPLETE REGISTRATION if you have never done so before => choosing a region/department + ticking the T&C box – you only need to do this once!

   3. Once in (it should say LOGOUT at the top) click on the MY ACCOUNT button

   4. Once in MY ACCOUNT, scroll down to the DOWNLOAD section at the bottom of the page (see also the ARTICLE section)

   5. DOWNLOAD your file to view (and save on our computer if you prefer)

  • I bought a printed guide or a physical item from the shop – when will I get it?

Unless otherwise specified (i.e. in the case of an item on pre-order for example), we aim to process your order within the next 7 days.

  • There is already an item in my basket but I don’t want to buy it. How do I get rid of it?

Click in the BASKET button at the top.

Once there, you can view items currently in your basket and remove any unwanted articles by clicking on the bin icon on the left-hand side of the item.
