MPs to debate new Brexit deal from 9:30 tomorrow

The British House of Commons will sit from 9:30 tomorrow (10:30 in France) to debate the new Brexit deal – the first time it has sat on a weekend since the Falkland Islands invasion on April 3, 1982.

It is a very rare occurrence – the house has sat on a Saturday on only three other occasions in recent history: the outbreak of World War Two, again in summer 1949,  and during the Suez crisis of 1956.

It is not known how long it will take for the MPs to debate and vote on the new Brexit deal.

You can watch the debate online tomorrow at this link.
