Sports retailer offers to help 400m hurdler following heartfelt TV interview

A out-of-work French athlete competing at the World Championships in London may have landed a job, following a TV interview.

Mamadou Kassé Hann told France 3 reporter Patrick Montel that he was looking for a job in a live TV interview shortly after missing out on qualifying for the final of the men's 400m hurdles.

"I have not managed to find any work," he said. "Life is not easy."

A matter of minutes later, sports retailer Decathlon contacted the broadcaster via Twitter, offering to help the athlete find work.
