Several different supermarket products are being recalled across France because of issues which could cause harm to consumers.

Smoked salmon

Leclerc is recalling smoked salmon to its stores across France because of a listeria risk.

The fish belongs to the ‘Ronde des mers’ brand and was produced in Norway. It is in a 210g pack and is made up of six slices of salmon.

It has:

  • The GTIN 3564706552760

  • The health mark FR 76.664.003 CE

  • The batch number F2280404

Only products which have an additional 05 at the end of their bar code are concerned by the recall.

Customers are advised not to eat the salmon and to take it back to the shop instead. They will then be entitled to a refund.

This recall procedure will come to an end on November 20.

A helpline has been set up on 0800 865 286.

Further information can be found on Rappel Conso.

Baby milk

Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Cora/Match, Intermarché, Leclerc and U are all recalling Candia Baby Junior 4 baby milk bottles which have been sold since July 22.

The bottles contain 250ml of milk and are sold in packs of 24.

There are concerns that the heat-sealing closure on the bottle caps is faulty, which could affect the airtightness of the contents.

The product’s:

  • Health mark is FR 42.305.001

  • GTIN is 3533631193003

  • Batch number is 22SM4047185

  • Use-by date is March 1, 2023

Customers are advised not to use the product and instead to take it back to the shop for a refund.

A helpline has been made available on 09 87 87 00 50 for people with questions. This recall procedure will come to an end on October 19.

Chocolate eclairs

Carrefour, Monoprix, Franprix and Intermarché are recalling chocolate eclairs sold in their stores across the country.

The product in question is a pack of two 80g eclairs from the ‘La pâtisserie pour tous’ brand, which were being sold between September 13 and September 24.

They are being recalled because of concerns over traces of a foreign body such as metal or plastic.

Customers are advised not to eat the eclairs but to throw them away or go back to the shop for a refund.

The eclairs’:

  • GTIN is 3456580500121

  • Batch number is 122510349

  • Use-by date is September 24

Fruit compotes

Leclerc is also recalling a batch of fruit compotes sold under the ‘Douceur du verger’ brand. The compotes are being recalled because they contain a higher level of patulin than what is permitted.

Patulin is a mycotoxin produced by a variety of moulds, found in apples and apple products, and can be harmful to humans if present in large quantities.

The compotes:

  • Are apple flavour and come in a pack of 16

  • Have the batch number LF2205691
