Win free tickets to this year’s Interceltique festival

We have two pairs of tickets, worth €42 for each pair, for subscribers to attend a very special performance at the 2018 Festival Interceltique de Lorient

Do you fancy going to the 2018 Festival Interceltique de Lorient? We have two pairs of tickets to give away to subscribers who can answer a simple question!

The Connexion is pleased to announce that it is a media partner of the 48th edition of the hugely popular event in Brittany. This year, the festival is expected to attract some 750,000 people from all corners of the world to Lorient.

This year's event runs from August 3 to August 12 - when the cream of Celtic music from Galicia to Scotland descends on the coastal Morbihan town, which hosts around 200 events and shows, of which 120 are free, featuring thousands of performers.

Every year, the event celebrates a particular Celtic culture. While 2017 swung to a Scottish beat, this year's event will see talents from Wales at the centre of proceedings, with the likes of Delyth Jenkins, NoGood Boyo, Ofelia, and Yr Hwntws performing in the Pavilion d'honneur.

We have two pairs of complimentary tickets, worth €42 for each pair, for the Nuit Interceltique at Lorient's Stade du Moustoir, a spectacular event that takes audiences deep into the heart of Celtic culture.

Today we have two pairs of two free tickets to give away to subscribers, worth €42 for each pair, for the third night of this epic event, on August 7.

All subscribers have to do is answer this simple question: Which Celtic country, that borders England, is the country of honour at the 2018 festival?
