Less taxes to pay in France in 2020?

An online simulator can help you see if you will benefit from changes to the tax bands next year which aim to reduce tax for lower earners while not benefiting the well-off.

They include lowering the first tax band rate from 14% to 11%.

Those subject to tax at source should notice reductions, if eligible, in amounts taken off salaried incomes or instalments paid by self-employed people, as of January 2020.

You need details such as your annual taxable income from your avis d’imposition and the number of quotient “parts” for your family (eg. two for a couple, or one for a single person).
