NO, THIS is an internet hoax. The only legal requirement is to place the vignette sticker in the bottom-right of the windscreen, with the front part visible from outside.
Can you be fined for not signing insurance vignette?
I received an email warning that you can be fined €180 if you have not signed the insurance sticker attached to the inside of the car window. Is this true?
