From June 30 this year these jobs will no longer receive Crédit d’Impôt pour la Transition Énergétique tax credit of 15%. The aid was cut from 30% in January as it cost too much for a little gain.
The CITE is claimed as a tax credit on the following year’s tax bill. Anyone applying for this work must have a quote accepted by an RGE certified business and a deposit paid before June 30, with work completed before December 31, 2018.
