Altogether a University Library, and an all-public Library. Run by the University of Lorraine and by Association ABAN "Friends of the American Library in Nancy" (subscription 15 or 5 Euros/year).
Part-time qualified Librarians.
More than 27000 books (novels, books for students and Faculty, comics, books for children and teenagers, travel books, audio-books, DVDs, newspapers, magazines, including children magazines, in English. A few bi-lingual novels.
ABAN Activities: 3 chatting sessions in English a week, including one for Students, activities for kids and parents on Wednesday afternoons (singing, story reading, board games), Book Club or Readers'Club once a month: 1st Friday, 3pm, Board Games evening once a month, lectures, theater performances by a US Company... Thanksgiving celebration.
Book Sale once a year.
