Anglican Church in Saint-Raphael Open for Worship

St John's Anglican Church in Saint-Raphael has, and continues to remain open for Sunday worship during the time of pandemic. We do practice social distancing in our seating, and the wearing of masks whenever standing up in the church. We continue to offer Holy Communion each Sunday, although during the pandemic we only administer the wafer, and the wine is only a spiritual communion as the Chaplain consumes it.

We are expecting as of May 16 to be able to offer our time of fellowship and friendship following our Sunday services with coffee, biscuits and even a glass of wine again. We will also be holding our monthly Church lunches after June 9, unless the pandemic prevents us from doing so.

St John's has been offering an English language worship service in Saint-Raphael since 1880, with only WW2 breaking the pattern. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am in our church located at 117 ave Paul Doumer, 83700 Saint-Raphael. Directly behind our church is the main SNCF rail line to Nice, and it is an easy 2 minute walk from the Saint-Raphael-Valescure rail station parking lot to the church. We welcome all people who seek a Christian worship service in English each Sunday.
