Connexion will be publishing its annual guide to completing your French tax forms, either in hard copy by post, or as a PDF, at the end of March. You can pre-order the guide (and save €3) today

The guide costs €9.50 (plus P&P for printed copies) for orders taken before April 1, 2017. It will then be €12.50 (+P&P for printed copies).

Printed guides will be posted from March 27, 2017.

You will be able to download the Helpguide as soon as it is released, directly from your account.

French income tax forms will be sent to homes in April and must be completed by the end of May or early June, dependent if filed online or on paper.

This guide details information needed to make your declaration. It shows how to declare your income such as pensions, rent, ISAs, shares, savings and interest, with a visual guide to the French forms.

Contents include:
- Changes this year
- Tax residency and tax treaties
- 2017  tax bands and exchange rates
- Income to be declared
- Double tax treaties
- Social contributions
- Useful vocabulary
- UK rental income
- Paper or online declaration options
- Step-by-step guide to filling in key form sections
- Claiming tax credits
- Declaring foreign bank accounts
- Different ways to pay
- Reader questions and answers

We use the latest layout available for this which is taken from last year’s forms as the French tax authorities do not release any changed forms prior to the opening of the declaration period, so after publication of this guide. The guide also includes two pages on the online declaration. Please note that the nature of declaring online does not allow screen-by-screen help, however this largely follows the same pattern as the printed forms which are detailed in the guide.
