A new immersive exhibition on the iconic 90s TV series Friends is opening at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, today (November 21).

Paris is the first European city to welcome ‘The Friends Experience’ after its tour in North America, including in Boston, Denver, San Francisco, Nashville, Washington D.C, Chicago, New York, and Toronto.

The exhibition will be open until January 22, 2023.

It will offer fans of the show a chance to explore the world of the most famous New York friends, including Monica’s kitchen and the 'girls’ apartment', the fountains and orange sofa seen in the opening credits, and Joey and Chandler’s living room chairs.

Costumes and famous accessories from the series (including Huggsy, Joey’s penguin toy, and the 'foosball table') will also be on show.

The instantly recognisable coffee house, Central Perk, has also been recreated, and fans will be able to buy drinks and snacks, plus a selection of souvenirs from their visit.

Tickets are only available online at www.paris.friendstheexperience.com.

Tickets cost €25 for adults, €20 for children, and €15.50 for people with disabilities. VIP tickets (which include locker room access, a small gift and easier flexibility when selecting dates) cost €37.50 for an adult, and €30.80 for a child.

The experience has been created by Superfly X, Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Television Group.

Peter van Roden, senior vice president of Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, said: “Friends has always been a special and unique show that continues to entertain a multi-generational fanbase around the globe.

“With The Friends Experience, we’re able to truly immerse our guests into the world of Friends, walking them through recreated sets, with iconic props and costumes that bring back the nostalgia for many while creating new memories for all.

“We can’t wait to launch this incredibly engaging and interactive experience for our fans in Europe.”

Stacy Moscatelli, co-president and chief strategy officer at Superfly X, said: “We are looking forward to the first European debut of The Friends Experience in France.

Friends fans in Paris and those visiting will be able to step inside the world of the iconic series, relive their favourite moments, and celebrate the show unlike ever before.

“For its European tour of The Friends Experience, Superfly X will be partnering with The Luna Cinema and MB Presents, along with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, to help bring this incredible interactive space to life in Paris, celebrating the worldwide fandom of Friends.”
