June cut-off for discount on boilers and windows

If you plan to fit double glazing or a new fioul boiler now is the time as tax incentives for the work are ending in summer

From June 30 this year these jobs will no longer receive Crédit d’Impôt pour la Transition Énergétique tax credit of 15%. The aid was cut from 30% in January as it cost too much for a little gain.

The CITE is claimed as a tax credit on the following year’s tax bill. Anyone applying for this work must have a quote accepted by an RGE certified business and a deposit paid before June 30, with work completed before December 31, 2018.
