The French government is imposing new Covid restrictions on travel between France and the UK from today (December 18).
Only people who have an essential reason for travel can enter France from the UK. This applies to all travellers, whether they are vaccinated or not.
This is also the case for those wishing to travel to the UK from France.
If you are traveling to the UK and departing from France, you must have an essential reason, regardless of your vaccination status.
It is not yet known how long the rules will remain in place.
