Glasses to help tired drivers stay awake
Glasses have gone on sale that are claimed to prevent drivers falling asleep at the wheel.
The glasses have sensors that detect yawning and blinking – red lights on the glasses start to flicker and an alarm vibrates.
They can also be connected to a phone application and message passengers to warn them.
The Prudensee glasses are the brainchild of former optician Philippe Peyrard and are available from Optic 2000 in seven styles for €289.
