Check whether it is time for a new filter

Diesel particulat e soot is already blamed for air pollution, but it is now being linked with pollen as a source of breathing allergies – making the air inside a car possibly six times more polluted than the air outside.

Air filters are in about 95% of new cars, air-conditioned or not, and these should be replaced each year. Many garages offer a free check and 75% of car climate problems are down to a blocked filter.
