Can you use Mon espace santé if not in the French system?
Users must have a social security number
I live in France but work in Monaco. Can I have a Mon espace santé space?
If you are not in the French system, for example, because you access all your care via private health insurance or you are a cross-border worker insured in another state, you will not be able to use the service.
The Assurance Maladie sent activation codes to members and activation also needs a French social security number and carte Vitale number. If you did not receive a code, you can request one by supplying the same details.
Cnam, the national body for Assurance Maladie, confirmed this to The Connexion, saying: “Only people affiliated to a French compulsory health insurance scheme can have a Mon espace santé profile.
The carte Vitale is indeed necessary to activate the profile. People who meet the criteria you mentioned are not eligible for a health space.”
