‘Election was wrong’ says French barrister
French barrister Julien Fouchet from Bordeaux has launched a case before France’s Conseil d’Etat contesting the validity of the European elections.

The grounds include the problem of the five French MEPs who can only take their seats if Brexit occurs and France’s requirement of 5% of the votes for a European Parliament seat, which the case says is too high.
