Ile-de-France wines win IGP status fight

After a 20-year fight, Ile-de-France wines have won the backing of quality control agency Inao to gain the IGP ( indication géographique protégée ) label

It protects Suresnes-Mont-Valérien, Blu­nay, Provins, Guérard and Paris and will allow the planting of new vines.
