La Poste launches Lascaux stamps
Stamps representing paintings from the Lascaux caves are being issued by La Poste.

The stamps, designed by artist Elsa Catelin, will not only have a Dordogne subject but will also be printed in the department.
They will be on sale across France on April 29, costing 88c.
Every year, La Poste selects 50 subjects from around 1,000 ideas. Last year, Marianne was celebrated on a series of stamps.
