The SNCF is selling 200,000 Ouigo train tickets for €19 until November 19. This offer is for travel between November 15 and December 20.
The €19 tickets are available are: Paris-Quimper, Bordeaux-Paris, Marseille-Paris, Nancy-Paris, Marseille-Lyon, Nantes-Paris, Toulouse-Paris, Strasbourg-Paris, Metz-Paris, Montpellier-Paris, Rennes-Paris and Lyon-Paris.
In total, more than 50 destinations are included.
Winter holiday train tickets
For those looking to travel in early 2024, winter holiday train tickets also go on sale tomorrow and travellers can reserve journeys between February 10 and March 24.
The SNCF announced that these tickets will be for the TGV InOui, Intercités and TGV Lyria trains – the latter providing connections between France and Switzerland.
Their website states that tickets for travel to the UK with the Eurostar can be booked from 11 months before the train runs.
Beware of crowds
The time at which tickets go on sale on Wednesday has not been specified, however as usual it will be first come first served.
The SNCF suggests it is worth keeping an eye on the website throughout the day as the best offers and the most choice on routes and schedules are likely to sell out quickly.
Last month the SNCF website went down for two hours, following a huge number of visits when they opened ticket sales for the festive season.
