Today (August 29) is the last day to benefit from SNCF’s near 50% discount on rail advantage cards, which until tomorrow will cost €25 rather than €49.

This discount applies to the:

Carte Avantage Jeune for 12 to 27-year-olds
-
Carte Avantage Adulte for 27 to 59-year-olds

Carte Avantage Senior for people over 60
These advantage cards entitle holders to a 30% reduction on full-price ticket fares for national and international TGV and Intercités trains, plus a 60% reduction for up to three accompanying children.
Prices are also capped for second-class tickets, no matter the time or date of the booking. SNCF has specified that prices for cardholders are capped at €39 for journeys of less than 1.5 hours, €59 for journeys of between 1.5 and 3 hours, and €79 for journeys of more than three hours.
Holders can also access a 15% discount on food and refreshments on board trains as well as several other services including door-to-door luggage delivery.
